Congratulations to Michael Moore. Mike traveled down to the Southern Tier last weekend and won his first race by a dominating 36 second margin enroute to a PR of 18:19.

Thank you Chuck, Tony, and Stacey! I appreciate it! I have to give a shout out to Michelle Fox - her help and guidance has been a huge reason my race times have improved so much over the past month... thank you!

Also, congrats to all of the participants, and a big thank you to the volunteers, etc! Despite the weather, it was a fun event and for a great cause as well. See you there next year!

I agree, those fancy shoes are pretty slick. Your times have been improving something fierce. Where can one find those rocket shoes? Good job.

WAR GENTLEMANLY COMPETITION

Squalls out on the gulf stream,
Big storms coming soon.
I passed out in my hammock,
God, I slept way past noon.
Stood up and tried to focus,
I hoped I wouldn't have to look far.
I knew I could use a Bloody Mary,
So I stumbled next door to the bar.

And now I must confess,
I could use some rest.
I can't run at this pace very long.
Yes, it's quite insane,
I think it hurts my brain.
But it cleans me out and then I can go on.

There's something about this Sunday
It's a most peculiar gray
Strolling down the avenue
That's known as A1A
I was feeling tired, then I got inspired.
And I knew that it wouldn't last long
So all alone I walked back home, sat on my beach
And then I made up this song.

Well, the wind is blowin' harder now
Fifty knots or there abouts,
There's white caps on the ocean.
And I'm watching for water spouts
It's time to close the shutters
It's time to go inside.
In a week I'll be in gay Paris;
That's a mighty long airplane ride.

Yes, It cleans me out and then I can go on.

Thanks again everyone... and yes, definitely have to give props to the silent Cinotti. Nice PR! After the shenanigans on this forum last year leading up to the Snowball Run, and then beating him at that race, I haven't been able to beat him since!

Good running wishes to LUVAMAN and LIL'CINO. Yeah the other CINO is a loud mouth, but he seems to be a nice guy. I am looking forward to getting back out there. Should make a re-debut around the Harvest Moon run. I will go out to some races as a spectator. Just look for the guy with crutches.

See you around at the races.
