Does anyone have some tips for training for an 8k over 5k besides just increasing milage. i.e. any speed or endurance workouts.

26 flat 8k pr 2 years ago and hoping to run that or better. And personally I feel like I have more natural leg speed then endurance.

It depends on what type of runner you are. Lagat's training is markedly different than Gebreselassie's
