The start of the 2001 St. Vianney's 5K Kickoff Run in Orchard Park. Most of the race is actually run over the streets of West Seneca

The early leaders. Drew Maloney (50), Tony DiLoreto (71), and Paul Drexler. Paul managed to maintain the pace and finished 2nd overall, 1st in his age group.

Halfway through the course, eventual winner Joe Biasillo has established a commanding lead. Here Joe is rounding the corner at Mill Street leaving East & West Rd behind.

Kevin H. English paces his 11-year-old son, Kevin H. English. The younger Kevin went on to win his age group.

Marty Farrell blasts the final stretch of the 5k to finish in 19:51.

Brandon Schlemmer and Shawn Coppola turn on the speed for a fantastic finish. Shawn managed to edge ahead.

The Womens Winner Jessica Vastola hangs on to her lead to win the womens race in 20:17.

Sue Devlin, 3rd in 21:31.

Winning her age group is Ellen Hamm. Ellen's time was 21:46.
