BUFFALO - October 12, 2002 - Tom Proctor, missing in action since the Buffalo Marathon, burst back onto the local running scene with a huge win in the GBTC Parkway 10K. Tom's time was 32:29.

Susan Munson continued her masterful winning streak with an impressive victory in 37:24.

Last year's winner, Mike Heitzenrater, did not race - but his legacy lives on. Two local runners completed the "Heitzenrater Double" by running both the Parkway 10K and the ECMC Lifeline Foundation 5K held only minutes later. Congratulations to iron men Don Mitchell and Tom Burns.
