With spring finally poking it's head out I want to put together a list of trails within 2 hours to hit with my pup.

Hunter's Creek
Allegheny State Park
Zoar Valley
McCarthy/Little Rock State Forest
Palmer's Pond (Anyone ever been here?)

The list looks good! Rochester, NY & the surrounding has great trails:
Mendon Ponds Park in Pittsford.
And when you enter Perinton, NY, the welcome sign says, Trail Town, USA- they are into trails.
The Crescent Trail there is a really good. There are more; I'm sure Rochester locals could share- you might know that they have a prominent trail group- #TrailsRoc- They post group trail runs and have a lot of knowledge of the local trails.

Locally, Darien Lakes in Darien Center has some shorter trails, 18 Mile Creek in Hamburg, Erie County Forest, Genesee County Park & Forest, Chestnut Ridge. Others that I've heard about but haven't tried are McCarty Hill Forest/Rock City near Ellicottville & the Conservation Trail- Holland Ravines. Sue will like Spraguebrook & Hunter's creek because of the water- also, a little park with Creek access is JP Nicely Park in West Falls- only about 2 miles of trails.
