It was nice to see a few familiar faces yesterday. That was the first time I had run Mr. Ed's since 1998. My 1998 Champion jacket did generate some conversation---mission accomplished.

Shout outs to Allen Dise and Jason and Henry Bibler!!!!!

I'm still amazed that in the middle of February that 228 people came to Middleport to run a road race. Buffalo runners are a hearty group for sure.

The course was long---they took it off the canal path because the state told them so--the race director told me that he measured the course at 3.18 miles. He measured 3.1 from the start line to the start line, forgetting that the finish line was further back towards the road.

As you know, there is nothing worse that an inaccurate course, but this was understandable considering that they had a certified course that they couldn't use.

All in all--always good to get a race in back in WNY

I think both are ok for use

Hardy probably fits better

But the crowd was boisterous and cheerful which fits hearty

Hearty or hardy (maybe both)? :-)
