It's the time of year--the official start of the 2025 road racing season. In Buffalo, that means the Shamrock Run, the 8K legend that goes off this Saturday under forecasted rainy, snowy weather conditions. Would you want it any other way?

The lidlifter for Rochester takes place on March 15 with the Running of the Green, the 5 mile race that starts and ends downtown.

On March 8, both Syracuse and Binghamton kick off with 4 milers. Syracuse offers the annual Tipperary Hill, while Binghamton counters with its St. Pat's run, which I will run for the third time.

With the season about to get started, the question---how many races do you plan on running in 2025.

I hope to do my usual 10 races as long as I'm healthy.

Providing my body plays along, as many as possible.

The best RACE is the one you don't remember. PTO
