I just finished a no boundaries couch to 5k program and really love running. However, the program ended and now i feel a liitle lost and lacking the same motivation on my own. Does anyone have any suggestions? Note: i run sloooooow.

What i loved about the program was that it ramped up and was doable. Now it seems less exciting to just keep run/walking 3 miles at 4 minute run, 1 min walk. Should i start the plan over and try to do it faster? Any help is greatly appreciated!

I fel like i need either a clear plan to follow and/or a coach/trainer that i pay to help keep me on task. Where would i even find a running coach?

A good resource would be Vicki Mitchell, who not only coaches X-C and T&F ** UB, but also sets up the club's track workouts. her contact information is on either UB or Checker's web sites.

You might also try the running stores. They generally employ runners, who might also be interested in coaching.

As you call around and check sites, you may start to hear/see the same names, so that should narrow your search a bit

This time of year is generally a down time in terms of races, which means, relatively a corresponding decrease in training. Less miles and intensity; people run slower and shorter, for the most part until ramping up for the start of the next season (Old First Ward 8K, first Saturday in March).

Good luck
