Eden's Liza O'Connor models the 2001 Parkway commemorative lined jacket. The jacket proved to be very popular.

A closeup of the embroidered artwork. By runner request - there were no advertisements anywhere on the jacket!

Jacket Distribution.
100% of the pre-registered runners were able to receive the jacket. When the jackets ran out, 23 "day-of-race" registrants got to choose either a "United We Stand" American Flag T-shirt or a GBTC matched donation to the American Red Cross in lieu of the jacket.

Unique winged foot trophys await distribution to those runners who excelled competitively.

At the start - Buffalo Police provide suplerative protection and traffic control. Runners commented that traffic control was excellent at this years Parkway 10K.

Matt Glynn briefly has the lead.

The winner approaches the finish line.
It's Mike Heitzenrater - and he has a huge lead.

Mike established a commanding lead early and never looked back.
The winning time is 32:45.

Not Done Yet
Mike Heitzenrater appears to be strolling off into the sunset after winning the Parkway 10K. But no, he's not done yet. Mike will pick up his trophy then head back to Delaware Park where he entered ECMC Lifeline Foundation 5K only minutes later! He won that race too.
