WNY Alumni XC Challenge5KORCHARD PARK -- Chestnut Ridge Park, Orchard Park NY. Round up the old teammates and alums and put together a team. 2 persons deep (separate M and F scoring). no registration or official sign up. Just show up ready to run and wear your old high school gear if you can. old school hand timing and popsicle-stick scoring to keep things simple, so no numbers, no official anything. New Year’s Eve 5K5KYOUNGSTOWN -- Fort Niagara State Park, Lewiston, NY 14174. Races start at noon. Run on New Year’s Eve (12/31/2016), New Year’s Day (1/1/2017), or BOTH for a special discounted price! This scenic USATF certified 5K course runs through Fort Niagara State Park and will be closed to traffic during the race. Organizers are planning to put up a large heated tent for the post race celebration and awards ceremony. Pizza from Main Street Pizzeria, Special prizes for the top male and female runner at each race, age group awards, and more. Last race of 2016 and first race of 2017!
