So, I am finally given the green light to begin running again after over 14 weeks post-op.
I notice a pain behind my right knee. As I am coming back, I figure, no big deal, just a little sore.
I went out early last week to do my workout and feel/hear a snap behind the knee. I am hoping "Baker's Cyst, but with my medical background, the medical in me figures posterior horn medial meniscus tear.
Get an appt with the MD next day and an MRI. Biggest fear is reality!
Surgery is scheduled next week.
Any one had this? How was the recovery? When were you able to get back?
I am still doing daily PT from the last surgery so I feel like I have a routine. I just can't really trust when the leg will give out, as, it is unpredictable. I am walking very slowly and close to home just in case.
Stay safe out there!

Sorry to hear about your new injury, Jeanne. While I don't have any personal knowledge about such injuries, it definitely sounds like a frustrating way to spend the start of your retirement, when you had planned to do more running. You are tenacious, though, so keep battling, and we will see you at some races after this Covid pandemic subsides.
