I'm coming in to town to run it for the second year. Looks like it will be an unseasonably warm 39-40 degrees for the race. Disappointing that it has been moved to Deleware Park from Forest Lawn but I guess Forest Lawn is no longer allowing races (?). I love running through there.

Who is in?

Wow, that's a bummer. I hadn't noticed the course change. The run through the cemetary was always nice and often a little challenging in winter conditions. A lap and half in an open circle on the other side of the road, no less, is kind of a drag. Always a very well run race, with nice schwag and post race though- I'm sure they'll make it work.

I'm in. My first time doing it (I just started running in April). I like running at Delaware Park but it would've been neat to run at Forest Lawn as I've never done that yet.

Still looking forward to it, especially because the weather will be decent.

Really disappointed that this race course has changed. Really seems to be like a logistical mess now. Crossing over the 198 to get to the park, then back again. Hopefully it works out!

Bingo! I am very concerned with how the parking situation will work out. Lesser than that is how will I take advantage of all my trail race experience from this year if there are no hills to beat up on?

I'll still have fun though!

Does anyone have further information in regards to the Forest Lawn situation? Noticed Shoes for Shelter has new course TBA as well.

I understand if they got complaints in the past in regards to respect to families, however it is a historic Buffalo landmark that should be shared & enjoyed by all.

Good question. I had heard earlier that all of the cemeteries were disallowing races in them but then it turned out to just be Forest Lawn. Nobody seems to know anything beyond the fact that there no more races in there.
