| Looking for a partner for my Tempo Runs, track workouts and long runs.
Do AT runs in Delaware Park, Hoyt Lake area, run around 7 minute miles for 5 miles after warm-up.
Do track work on Fridays around 5 pm at either Buff State or Crosby field either 400s at 90 seconds or 800s in around 3:09.
Long runs are around Buffalo, Delaware Park, Hoyt Lake, Forest Lawn area--do 2 1/2 hours in about 8-9 minute miles (use HR monitor so unsure of exact pace as run for time).
Goal is to crack 19:00 in 5K race at end of October, then carry fitness through to Bob Ivory Run and Reindeer Run.
Don't bother just to be better than your contemporaries or predecessors. Try to be better than yourself.
