I recently experienced what I would consider a minor pull of my hamstring, probably from overtraining. After a 12 minute slow warmup, I broke down about a mile in to a tempo run, and then walked [read gimped] my way home. That was 4 days ago, and it still nags when jogging, but not when walking. I am looking for some adivce from you expereiced runners and was wondering what the best treatment would be, or if there is a recommended PT firm to see for such an injury. I am training for my first half in September and dont want to be derailed if possible. I know rest is probably the best, but what can I do if I cannot run? Thanks.
