Once again the Veterans Race 5K/10K were a GREAT pair of well organized races! I hope everyone had a wonderful time. The post race chatter is very positive. The runners liked the routes.

The only concern is that your nominal 5K and 10K times are not tremendously meaningful today. The races were NOT USATF Certified this year contrary to what was advertised elsewhere. I apologize for not noticing that published gaffe and following up earlier.

We measured today what you ran after the fact and estimate the 5K was 4.78 km or 2.97 miles in length. This is a very short course. The 10K was 360 meters short.

You may want to pro-rate your times accordingly to gain a meaningful comparison for personal use. (Your secret formula is Rate X Time = Distance)
